Memories & Stories

Imperial Sugar Company,
When I saw your address in the Baton Rouge Advocate food section, I could not wait to write. I have one sister who was the talented cook. I was the challenged one. I remember being so proud when your cookbook came out. It even helped me get a Girl Scout badge. I had decided I would write my favorite recipe, but when I went back to the cookbook, which I still have today (I am 50 years old) I could not decide.

I want to thank you for the service you provided me, and now with the reissue, what you will provide other young women. Again, many thanks, especially for the wonderful memories of the hours in the kitchen as a little girl with my mother.

Sincerely,
Cynthia D. Davis
