Fruit Flavor Tip: For a better tasting sorbet, add a squeeze of lemon juice to strawberry or raspberry puree.
How to Juice a Lemon
You can juice a lemon by hand by first pressing firmly on the fruit while rocking it back and forth on your work surface. This helps break fibers in the lemon down so the juice comes out easier. Then cut the lemon in half and squeeze. Hold your lemon upwards in your palm in order to avoid the seeds falling out into your juice.
Chef Eddy recommends using the Chef’n FreshForce Lemon Citrus Juicer. This helpful gadget makes it quick and easy to get all of the juice out of a lemon without the pulp.
