Maple syrup was used to make this banana bread extra moist and tender. However, since maple flavor is never well pronounced in most baked goods, it is best to add a few teaspoons of maple flavor to the batter if you desire a strong maple flavor.

12-2-2015 This was definitely a new way of making banana bread for me with the maple syrup. I wish I could have tasted the maple flavor more and would personally add a splash of maple extract next time. It's easy to over cook, so be careful!
