When life gives you lemons, make lemon cake! This is a delicious summer treat with lemon curd between moist layers of lemon cake then topped with lemon butter frosting.

I tried this recipe today, I didn't have whole milk so I substituted 2 small cans of canned milk (1-1/4 cups) and a 1/4 cup of almond milk. It turned out great. Nice, moist texture with a light, lemony flavor. I will be making this cake again.
