Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Imperial Sugar Confectioners Powdered Sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/3 cup sifted all-purpose flour*
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup Imperial Sugar Light Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Imperial Sugar Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
- 2/3 cup dried apricots
- 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour*
- 1/4 cup Imperial Sugar Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
*Spoon & Sweep method: Use a spoon to fill measuring cup with flour until required amount is obtained. Scooping measuring cup directly into flour bag will firmly pack flour resulting in too much flour required for recipe.
Directions
- Layer powdered sugar first, then pecans.
- Next layer 1/3 cup flour, salt and baking powder.
- Next layer brown sugar, then 1/4 cup granulated white sugar. Pack tightly.
- Next, layer the apricots.
- Finally, layer the remaining 1 cup of flour and1/4 cup of sugar on top (pie crust mixture).
- Print a theme specific Gift Mix Instructions card and attach to your package. We have three themed gift mix cards to choose from: all-seasons, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
- Attach recipe card with ribbon, raffia or string.
Imperial Sugar Insight
NOTE: If you cannot find a 72 ounce clear canister you can use a half-gallon Mason jar and just package extra fruit and pecans in a separate bag.
