Hard Blood Orange Lemonade

Hard Blood Orange Lemonade combines blood oranges and lemons with just the right amount of simple syrup. Topped off with club soda and vodka, this refreshing beverage makes a refreshing late winter/early spring drink. To make this into a mocktail with NO alcohol, simply leave out the vodka and add more club soda to your pitcher.

Ingredients

Simple Syrup
1 cup water
1 cup Imperial Sugar Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
Hard Blood Orange Lemonade
8 blood oranges, juiced
4 large lemons, juiced
4 cups water
3 cups club soda
1/2 - 1 cup vodka

Directions

For simple syrup, in small saucepan set to medium-low heat, heat water and sugar together for about 5 minutes or until all sugar is completely dissolved. Set aside to cool completely.
In large pitcher filled with ice, add juice of all blood oranges and lemons. Add water. Stir in club soda and vodka. Add simple syrup to taste, you most likely will not need all of it depending on your taste.
Stir very well and serve over ice.
