Fresh and fruity, cold and creamy, there's a lot to love about homemade Pina Coladas! When it is hot outside, whip up a batch of Pina Coladas to serve as you lounge around the pool. No pool you say? Don't let that stop you. Turn on the sprinkler or fill up the plastic kiddie pool. With a frozen Pina Colada in your hand, it's easy to imagine you're already on a beach somewhere!

Ingredients

Frozen Pina Colada

  • 1 (15 ounce) can cream of coconut
  • 2 cups pineapple juice
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks 
  • 1 tablespoon Imperial Sugar Light Brown Sugar
  • 4 cups crushed ice
  • 8 ounces rum*

Garnish

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. 
  2. Pour into hurricane glasses and serve with creme chantilly, pineapple slices, and maraschino cherry, if desired.
  3. Serve immediately.
Imperial Sugar Insight

*For a spicier twist, substitute a spiced rum. Or for an extra coconut boost, substitute coconut rum.
