Ingredients
- 1 fresh pineapple
- 2 ounces tequila blanco
- 1 ounce fresh lime juice
- 4 ounces fresh pineapple juice
- 2 tablespoons Imperial Sugar Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
- 3/4 ounce triple sec
- Tajin for rimming
- Ice
- Lime and pineapple slices for garnish
Directions
- Remove top from pineapple. Run a knife in a circle around inside of pineapple. Use a large spoon to scoop out insides. Set aside.
- To a blender, add 1 cup pineapple, sugar, and 1/4 cup water. Blend until smooth; strain.
- Spread tajin on a dish. Rim pineapple shell with tajin and fill with ice.
- To a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add tequila, lime juice, pineapple juice, and triple sec. Shake well.
- Pour into pineapple shell. Garnish with lime and pineapple.
