Pineapple Margarita

  • 1 fresh pineapple
  • 2 ounces tequila blanco
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 4 ounces fresh pineapple juice
  • 2 tablespoons Imperial Sugar Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
  • 3/4 ounce triple sec
  • Tajin for rimming
  • Ice
  • Lime and pineapple slices for garnish


  1. Remove top from pineapple. Run a knife in a circle around inside of pineapple. Use a large spoon to scoop out insides. Set aside.
  2. To a blender, add 1 cup pineapple, sugar, and 1/4 cup water. Blend until smooth; strain.
  3. Spread tajin on a dish. Rim pineapple shell with tajin and fill with ice.
  4. To a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add tequila, lime juice, pineapple juice, and triple sec. Shake well.
  5. Pour into pineapple shell. Garnish with lime and pineapple.
