    *Spoon & Sweep method: Use a spoon to fill measuring cup with flour until required amount is obtained. Scooping measuring cup directly into flour bag will firmly pack flour resulting in too much flour required for recipe.


    1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
    2. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt into mixing bowl. Grate very cold butter onto large eyes of a box grater directly into flour mixture. 
    3. Using the paddle attachment, mix on medium speed until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add egg-milk mixture and mix until dough just starts to form together. Do not over mix!
    4. Remove from bowl and gently press dough together to make it better combined. Roll dough on a lightly floured surface about 1/2-inch thick. Using a biscuit cutter, cut very close together minimizing waste. Place on a parchment-lined or buttered cookie sheet.
    5. Bake until pale golden, about 12-14 minutes, baking time will depend on thickness of biscuits.

    • 2 barras mantequilla sin sal, fría
    • 1 cucharada Imperial Sugar Azúcar Granulada Extra Fina
    • 2 tazas harina multiuso (Spoon and sweep method*)
    • 4 cucharaditas polvo de hornear
    • 3/4 cucharadita sal
    • 2 huevos grandes, batidos con la leche (abajo)
    • 1/3 taza leche, fría

    Para la capa de migas:

    *Método de cuchara y barrido: use una cuchara para llenar la taza de medir con harina hasta obtener la cantidad requerida. Si coloca la taza de medir directamente en la bolsa de harina, empacará la harina con firmeza y se necesitará demasiada harina para la receta.


    1. Precaliente el horno a 425°F.
    2. Corte rápidamente la mantequilla fría en cubitos parejos y combine con la Mezcla-regalo.
    3. Mezcle a velocidad media hasta que la mezcla parezca a grumos gruesos. Agregue la mezcla de huevo-leche de una vez y mezcle hasta que la masa empiece a formarse.
    4. Retire la mezcla del tazón y presione la masa ligeramente para que sea más uniforme. Estire la masa sobre una superficie ligeramente enharinada hasta que tenga un espesor de aproximadamente 1/2 pulgada. Utilizando un cortador de masa, corte la masa sin desperdiciarla. Póngala sobre una bandeja para hornear cubierta de papel pergamino o enmantequillada.
    5. Hornee hasta que tenga un color dorado pálido, alrededor de 12 a 14 minutos; el tiempo de horneado dependerá del espesor de los panecillos.

    These are awesome. The texture is more like a roll than a biscuit. They are best hot right out of the oven. Or you can toast them for breakfast. Just watch them in the toaster due to the high butter content, they will burn. I have probably made them 5 times and have shared the recipe to friends.
