Frozen Mango Margarita


  • 3 tablespoons Imperial Sugar Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
  • 2 lime wedges
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen mango, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 1/4 cup mango nectar
  • 1 1/4 ounces gold tequila
  • 1 ounce Cointreau or triple sec
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup ice cubes


      1. Rub one lime wedge on rim of margarita glass and dip in 1 tablespoon of sugar; discarding any remaining sugar.
      2. Place mango, nectar, tequila, Cointreau, lime juice and ice in blender container; blend until smooth. Pour into prepared glass; garnish with lime wedge. Serve immediately.

      • 3 cucharadas de Imperial Sugar Azúcar Granulada Extra Fina
      • 2 rodajas de limón
      • 1/2 taza de mango fresco o congelado, cortado en pedazos de 1 pulgada
      • 1/4 taza de néctar de mango
      • 1 1/4 onzas de tequila oro
      • 1 onza de Cointreau o triple sec
      • 2 cucharadas de jugo de lima fresco
      • 1 taza de cubitos de hielo


      Frote una rodaja de limón sobre el borde del vaso de margarita y sumérjalo en 1 cucharada de azúcar, descartando el resto de azúcar.

      Coloque el mango, el néctar, la tequila, el Cointreau, el jugo de limón y el hielo dentro del contenedor de la licuadora; mezcle hasta que esté suave. Vierta en el vaso preparado; adorne con una rodaja de limón. Sirva inmediatamente.

      PERFECTION! This recipe turned out even better than the Mexican restaurant that we visit! If you are using frozen mango, it will make the drink "stiff" It's totally wonderful!
