Lime Sorbet Nieve de Garrafa de Lima Imperial

  1. Combine water, sugar and lime juice in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 10 minutes.  Liquid will thicken bit into a syrup consistency. Remove from heat, stir in lime zest and set aside to cool.
  3. Pour syrup into a 9 x 5 x 3- inch loaf pan, cover with plastic wrap and chill for 3 hours.
  4. Remove from freezer, scrape frozen syrup with a fork thoroughly. Place back into freezer and chill overnight. Scoop, serve, and sprinkle with more lime zest if desired. Enjoy.

  1. Combina el agua, azúcar y jugo de lima en una olla mediana. Lleva a ebullición y reduce la temperatura a medio-bajo.
  2. Deja hervir por 10 minutos. El liquido se espesará a consistencia de jarabe. Retira de la estufa y deja enfriar.
  3. Agrega el jarabe a un molde de panque de 9 x 5 x 3”, cubre con papel plástico y coloca en el congelador por 3 horas.
  4. Retira del congelador y raspa el jarabe con un tenedor.  Coloca de nuevo en el congelador y deja congelar toda la noche. Sirve y decora con mas ralladura de lima si lo deseas. ¡Disfruta!
