Morir Soñando is a very popular beverage in the Dominican Republic. Its name translates to “to die dreaming” because of its to-die-for flavor. It’s creamy, foamy, sweet, and citrusy. Resembling the flavor of a creamsicle or an Orange Julius, Morir Soñando is a perfect summer refresher and a kid favorite.
Morir Soñando es una bebida muy popular en República Dominicana. Su nombre es muy peculiar porque su sabor es como un sueño y uno ya puede morir después de tomarla. Es cremosa, espumosa, dulce y cítrica. Parecida al sabor de un creamsicle o un Orange Julius. Es muy refrescante y perfecta para un día de verano. A los niños les encanta.

Ingredients
- 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
- 2 cups freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons Imperial Sugar Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
- Orange slices, for garnish
Directions
- Combine evaporated milk, orange juice, vanilla extract, and sugar in a large pitcher and whisk vigorously until foamy and sugar has dissolved.
- Serve over ice. Garnish with orange slices.
