Pomegranate Cherry Glazed Ham

Ingredients

    Directions

    1. Glaze: Mix juice, sugar, juice, water, and cornstarch in a medium saucepan until well blended.  Cook over medium heat for 3 minutes or until thickened, stirring constantly. Stir in lemon juice.
    2. Remove and discard glaze packet from ham or reserve for another use.
    3. Prepare ham according to package directions, uncovering and brushing occasionally with  Pomegranate Cherry Glaze for the last 30 minutes of the baking time.
    4. Carve ham just before serving.

    This glaze gives the ham a gorgeous colour, and is easy to apply as it clings well to the ham. Very tasty too.

    Ingredientes

    • 1 medio jamón con hueso cortado en espiral
    • 1 1/2 tazas jugo de granada y cereza
    • 1/3 taza de Imperial Sugar Azúcar Granulada Extra Fina
    • 1/4 taza de agua
    • 2 cucharadas de fécula de maíz
    • 1 cucharada jugo de limón fresco

    Direcciones

    1. Glaseado: Mezcle el jugo, azúcar, agua y fécula de maíz en una olla mediana hasta que estén bien mezclados. Cocine a fuego medio por 3 minutos, o hasta que espese, revolviendo constantemente. Incorpore el jugo de limón.
    2. Retire y deseche el paquete de glaseado de jamón o guárdelo para otro uso.
    3. Prepare el jamón de acuerdo con las instrucciones del paquete, descubriendo y cepillando de vez en cuando con el Glaseado de Granada y Cereza durante los últimos 30 minutos del tiempo de horneado.
    4. Corte el jamón justo antes de servir.
