Ingredients
- 2 cups Imperial Sugar Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
- 4 quarts water
- 4 family size tea bags
Directions
- Add sugar and 2 cups water into a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring until all sugar is dissolved. Set aside.
- In a separate pan, bring 1 quart water to boil over medium heat. Once boiling, remove from heat and add tea bags. Let steep for 5-6 minutes.
- Remove tea bags, and pour tea into pitcher. Add 2 1/2 quarts cold water and stir. Add simple syrup to tea pitcher and stir.
- Serve over ice in glasses. Add a lemon slice or a mint sprig to each serving if desired.
