Ingredients
Vanilla Crazy Cake
- 3 cups all-purpose flour*
- 2 cups Imperial Sugar Extra Fine Granulated Sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups water
- *Spoon & Sweep method: Use a spoon to fill measuring cup with flour until required amount is obtained. Scooping measuring cup directly into flour bag will firmly pack flour resulting in too much flour required for recipe.
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- Whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- Use the handle of the whisk to create three depressions in the flour mixture (two small ones and a big one). Pour the vanilla and the vinegar in the small depressions, and pour the oil into the large one.
- Pour the water over all of it and mix until smooth.
- Lightly spray a 9X13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray, and pour the batter into the dish.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until it passes the toothpick test.
- Serve it warm right away, or let it cool completely and top with your favorite frosting.
